Rooted in the Maritimes

quaint-pine was founded in 2012 by a group of friends who grew up scattered across the four Atlantic provinces. We shared a frustration with how tour companies treated our home — rushing visitors past the real stories, serving generic experiences, missing the soul of these ancient shores.

So we built something different. A travel company run by locals who know which fisherman tells the best stories, which hidden beach has the warmest water, and which backcountry trails lead to views that will stop you in your tracks.

Every tour we create comes from personal experience and genuine passion. We do not just show you Atlantic Canada — we introduce you to it.

What Sets Us Apart

Our approach to travel is built on three core principles.

Local Knowledge

Our guides are not hired from job boards — they are neighbours, friends, and family who have spent their lives exploring these shores. They know the unmarked trails, the family-run restaurants, and the stories behind every lighthouse.

Small Groups

We cap every tour at 12 travellers. This is not about exclusivity — it is about creating space for real conversation, flexibility to linger where the magic happens, and the ability to access places large groups cannot.

Sustainable Travel

Atlantic Canada's wild beauty is fragile. We partner with local conservation groups, use locally owned accommodations, and design itineraries that support communities rather than just passing through them.

Atlantic Canada is not one destination — it is four provinces with distinct personalities. Nova Scotia's Celtic heritage and rugged coastlines. New Brunswick's Bay of Fundy, where the world's highest tides reshape the shoreline twice daily. Prince Edward Island's gentle farmland and red sand beaches.
